Requirements

  • Experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or digital content development, ideally within financial services or regulated environments
  • Proven track record of designing and developing blended learning solutions (eLearning, microlearning, workshops, simulations, job aids) that drive performance
  • Experience with authoring tools and platforms such as Articulate 360 (or equivalent), Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia (or similar video editing tools)
  • Experience administering LMS and digital adoption platforms such as Whatfix or WalkMe
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work solo and collaboratively, comfortable navigating uncertainty and changing priorities
  • Analytical approach: comfortable using feedback, data, and A/B testing to refine content and measure impact
  • Curious, collaborative, and commercially minded; always looking for ways to improve outcomes for the business and people
  • Actively seeks opportunities to embrace AI and automation in everyday work

Responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts, product owners, and enablement teams to analyse learning needs and define clear objectives
  • Design and develop blended learning programmes and digital content using sound instructional design principles and the latest technology
  • Create engaging eLearning modules, microlearning, simulations, and job aids tailored to different roles and learning styles
  • Ensure all learning content meets accessibility, compliance, and regulatory standards for financial services
  • Manage the end-to-end development process: storyboarding, authoring, editing, testing, and deployment
  • Use feedback, learner analytics, and performance data to iterate and improve content
  • Curate and refresh learning resources to keep the catalogue relevant, inclusive, and aligned to business priorities
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of learning platforms, ensuring content is easy to find, access, and complete
  • Collaborate with other designers, facilitators, and stakeholders to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
