Requirements

Candidates must possess prior field work experience in construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and have prior knowledge of operating a bucket truck. They should be comfortable driving a work van or pickup truck, using power tools and heavy equipment, and working on ladders at high heights. Handyman-like experience, good time-management, organization, and communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and a general aptitude for technology. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Office Suite, Google Suite, and email, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Installation Technician will install poles, mount solar panels, and affix cameras to poles, often working at heights up to 30 feet using bucket trucks or ladders. Responsibilities include digging holes, repairing minor wiring issues, documenting installations via a mobile app, managing inventory, and receiving product shipments. Technicians will also meet with customers to discuss installation options, perform site surveys, and interpret traffic control plans to determine optimal device placement.
