Requirements

Bachelor's degree required and 3 years of experience in a quality laboratory environment, including GXP and/or QA experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in a laboratory environment in a GXP setting
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Knowledge of GXP regulations and guidelines, and basic audit techniques
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Effective organizational, communication, and team orientation skills
Ability to undertake assigned tasks and work independently
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients
Functional knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

Provides quality control (QC) support to operations
Performs QC review of sample connection binders, bioanalytical test binders, Aqualabo notebooks, data tables, data table summaries, and electronic submissions
Participates in the review and development of technical and QC PONs to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations
Actively participates in QC educational programs: internal workshops, presentations on current QC issues, QC training, and QC seminars for all new employees, etc
Leads or assists the director in conducting QC and staff meetings and discussing findings and recommendations to resolve non-conformance issues
Works closely with operations managers to improve system quality
Manages and plans all assigned quality control projects with minimal assistance from colleagues and managers
Communicates progress and strategic planning to the quality assurance director, or delegate, in the form of clear and concise evaluations with recommendations
Tracks and reports deviation trends to management
Uses root cause analysis to evaluate all systems to identify gaps, recommends actions, and professionally communicates the analysis to management to continuously improve quality
Designs, develops, and implements new QC procedures
Demonstrates continuous quality development driven by self-motivation
Takes proactive measures to improve quality systems
