High School Diploma or GED
1 year of related experience (2 years preferred)
Previous experience serving as a peer trainer or mentor

Responsibilities

Reinforce training received by manufacturing associates to ensure competency in performing trained tasks independently on live product and understanding of zero defects concept
Train quality, operational, technical, environmental, health, and safety standards in assigned work area and escalate training issues to production/group lead and technical training supervisor
Work closely with production/group lead to ensure trainees meet productivity goals for each product
Demonstrate knowledge of manual and automated operations of equipment and processes following ABIs, VKS Guidebooks, SOPs, EOIs, and WIs
Conduct on-the-job training related to area’s core functional operations to ensure employee competency in assigned tasks
Maintain/manage training compliance, enforce operational standards, and drive continuous improvement and zero defects in assigned area
Support production during critical times as approved by manager
