Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of related experience (2 years preferred)
  • Previous experience serving as a peer trainer or mentor

Responsibilities

  • Reinforce training received by manufacturing associates to ensure competency in performing trained tasks independently on live product and understanding of zero defects concept
  • Train quality, operational, technical, environmental, health, and safety standards in assigned work area and escalate training issues to production/group lead and technical training supervisor
  • Work closely with production/group lead to ensure trainees meet productivity goals for each product
  • Demonstrate knowledge of manual and automated operations of equipment and processes following ABIs, VKS Guidebooks, SOPs, EOIs, and WIs
  • Conduct on-the-job training related to area’s core functional operations to ensure employee competency in assigned tasks
  • Maintain/manage training compliance, enforce operational standards, and drive continuous improvement and zero defects in assigned area
  • Support production during critical times as approved by manager
