Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects furniture, mattresses, and flooring in each dialysis room before and after each dialysis
- Performs cleaning and disinfection of walls, sanitary facilities, and corridors
- Ensures the change of linen after each dialysis, transporting and storing it under established conditions
- Receives patients, helps them with dressing and undressing, and assists them in moving through the center
- Washes containers used for preparing dialysate and others, according to superiors' instructions
- Accompanies dialysis patients to some clinical investigations
- Administers food for dialysis patients
- Transports pre-packaged food after prior hand washing and changing the gown
- Cleans and disinfects urinals, bedpans, renal trays according to instructions
- Ensures the transport of substances and solutions from the pharmacy or storeroom
