Requirements

Candidates are required to possess 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS). They must demonstrate the ability to plan and execute zero-disruption migrations, possess deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and have strong experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and related tools such as Helm, Kustomize, and ArgoCD. Furthermore, candidates should have a solid understanding of git, branching models, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies, along with proven ability to architect for scale, availability, and high-performance workloads.

Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Engineer will design, architect, and implement scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure solutions primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Kubernetes deployment tools. They will also develop and maintain infrastructure, ensure auditability and observability of pipeline states, implement security best practices and compliance requirements, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, and potentially participate in pre-sales activities and provide technical expertise to sales teams. Additionally, the role involves providing technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineering staff, engaging with clients to understand their requirements, and leading agile ceremonies and project planning.
