Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience
15 years full time education
Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN setup, configuration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs, NAT, QoS and traffic policies
Understanding of WAN, MPLS, Internet, and LTE connectivity models
Familiarity with integration of SD-WAN in hybrid environments (Cloud, Data Center, Branch)
Basic exposure to automation (Python/Ansible) and API-driven provisioning (preferred)
Experience in creating or following SOPs, deployment checklists and technical documentation
Strong technical execution and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to follow structured implementation processes and maintain documentation accuracy
Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
Willingness to work in a dynamic transformation environment with changing priorities
Cisco CCIE or CCNP (Enterprise or Service Provider) (preferred)
SD-WAN Specialist Certification (Cisco or equivalent) (preferred)

Responsibilities

Implement and configure Cisco Viptela SD-WAN components including vManage, vBond, vSmart and edge routers (vEdge/cEdge)
Execute deployment activities based on approved Low-Level Design (LLD) and configuration templates
Perform SD-WAN policy configuration, routing setup, segmentation and traffic prioritization
Conduct end-to-end testing and validation of SD-WAN sites prior to migration and handover
Support migration and transition activities in collaboration with architecture and operations teams
Maintain and update documentation including build guides, configuration templates and runbooks
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for build-related issues during pilot and rollout phases
Ensure configurations comply with defined security and compliance standards
Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts
Deliver validated and tested SD-WAN configurations, site implementation and deployment checklists, build and runbook documentation, and handover support to operations
