Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 3, including ONE of: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCE, GCIH, CCSP
  • Education and experience: High School/GED AND 15 Years Experience; OR Associate AND 13 Years Experience; OR Bachelor AND 11 Years Experience; OR Master AND 9 Years Experience
  • Desired: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Desired: Experience in information technology security, information systems security, information assurance engineering, performing certification and accreditation testing
  • Office presence minimum of 5 days per week at customer's site (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to safeguard significant data stored in computer files by designing and installing security systems
  • Perform daily routine activities, administration, and management to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and availability of technological infrastructures and informational resources
  • Provide recommendations related to technical security by interacting with team members, management, and clients
  • Communicate risk factors and identify requirements to ensure system security
  • Review current procedural policies and ensure compliance
  • Develop technology for automatic security monitoring and evaluate needs for secure remote configurations
  • Mentor as directed/needed to support the team mission
  • Oversee the ISSE ATO effort within the assigned directorate
