Meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 3, including ONE of: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCE, GCIH, CCSP
Education and experience: High School/GED AND 15 Years Experience; OR Associate AND 13 Years Experience; OR Bachelor AND 11 Years Experience; OR Master AND 9 Years Experience
Desired: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Desired: Experience in information technology security, information systems security, information assurance engineering, performing certification and accreditation testing
Office presence minimum of 5 days per week at customer's site (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement plans to safeguard significant data stored in computer files by designing and installing security systems
Perform daily routine activities, administration, and management to maintain integrity, confidentiality, and availability of technological infrastructures and informational resources
Provide recommendations related to technical security by interacting with team members, management, and clients
Communicate risk factors and identify requirements to ensure system security
Review current procedural policies and ensure compliance
Develop technology for automatic security monitoring and evaluate needs for secure remote configurations
Mentor as directed/needed to support the team mission
Oversee the ISSE ATO effort within the assigned directorate
