The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with experience working with intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, and data loss prevention tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, coupled with familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Relevant certifications, such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP, are advantageous.
As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents to protect the organization’s information systems, assessing vulnerabilities and identifying risks, and responding to security breaches in a timely manner. You will also develop and implement security measures and best practices, ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, prepare detailed reports documenting security breaches and risk assessments, and collaborate closely with IT and security teams to enhance security protocols and mitigate threats. Furthermore, you will provide security awareness training and guidance to employees, and stay current with emerging security trends and technologies.
