Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years in product/platform documentation. Required skills include excellent communication and writing abilities, good listening and interviewing skills, strong multitasking capabilities, experience with REST/JSON API and apps user documentation, proficiency in information types, concepts, and procedures, experience developing multi-threaded applications, and the ability to work both independently and as a team player. Familiarity with HTML, MadCap Flare, and Jekyll is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Information Developer will design and build the information architecture for data management solutions, collaborating with developers and product managers to create technical documentation for platforms, SDKs, products, and apps. This role involves acquiring product knowledge from both technical and business perspectives, setting up and configuring working environments, validating technical content against runtime environments, and gaining expertise in open-source authoring tools, standard templates, and content development processes. Responsibilities also include contributing to GUI and error message improvements, and conducting quality assurance for documentation through self-checks, peer reviews, technical reviews, and information testing.
