Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or relevant area
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Finance
  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role)

Responsibilities

  • Process accounting transactions in NetSuite (ERP system), ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls across all relevant financial activities, including processing invoices and journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes as they pertain to the site
  • Partner with other site functions and other finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial recording and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and uphold data integrity throughout all financial transactions
  • Ensure appropriate accounting and provide appropriate accounting direction on matters such as capital, liabilities, and prepaid assets
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) controls related requests from internal and external auditors
  • Partner with central finance teams to deliver corporate requests and support resolving issues as a part of the manufacturing finance team
  • Assist in various product costing initiatives as needed
