Basic knowledge of the facilities’ layout of Compressed Air systems; Chilled Water, Recycled Water and City Water systems; Electrical Distribution Panels, Buss Bar Disconnects, and Primary Circuit Breakers
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Basic welding and fabricating skills
Adequate computer skills to use SAP to generate work orders, track labor, and consume materials
Maintain high safety standards
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
Hands-on experience with basic tools and diagnostic equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and basic programming knowledge
Proficiency in using multimeter
Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision
Responsibilities
Perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required
Cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner
Maintain all equipment in all areas of the plant
Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter inspection and replacement, oil changes, motor and pump replacements, plumbing, painting, cleaning, and any other mechanical and electrical task as assigned
Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems, including motors, sensors, and control systems
Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in compliance with company protocols
Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
