Requirements

Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds and stand 10-12 hours a day
Willingness to work in inclement environments (hot, cold, humid, icy, dusty, etc.) with temperatures from 20 to 100 degrees
Work around meat environment (blood, fat, bones, hair, cattle products)
Either 12 months of industrial work experience or 6 months of continued education in at least two of: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Welding, or Conveyor Maintenance
Basic computer skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees and management
Ability to read manuals to repair equipment safely
Willingness to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned
Open to working any shift (days, nights, weekends) and available for overtime
Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
Pass a urinalysis screening (post-offer health assessment)

Responsibilities

Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production
Perform work involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and conveyor maintenance
Repair and maintain operating conditions of machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot problems in day-to-day facility operations
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
Complete daily required documentation
