Have 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined
Willing and able to lift 70 lbs. daily
Willing and able to work on feet for 12 hours
Willing and able to work in cold, damp to hot environment
Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required
Possess basic computer skills
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment
Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation
Read manuals, diagrams, part lists, blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
Use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc
Complete all required training for the job
