Requirements

Willingness to work 1st shift with rotational schedule (3-12 hour days one week, 4-12 hour days the next), starting at 6:00 a.m., including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Basic computer skills to navigate systems, perform data entry, and complete training
Ability to read manuals to repair equipment safely and follow all safety protocols
Ability to record information using company-provided forms and procedures
Ability to report to work as scheduled, work scheduled hours, have flexibility for other jobs, weekends, and overtime
Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others, demonstrating positive interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members and management
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, hair net/beard guard, steel-toed boots, and gloves
Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 70+ lbs. below waist, at waist level, and above shoulder level
Physical ability to climb up/down stairs, work at elevated levels/various heights/confined spaces, stand/walk/perform job up to 10-12 hours/day with breaks, bend/stoop/twist/stretch/climb/push/pull/reach
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/warm to cold), damp/wet conditions, and on slippery concrete floors

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production, including repairing/maintaining operating conditions and troubleshooting day-to-day problems
Perform work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, general mechanics, and some welding
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery and complete daily documentation as required
Ensure personal safety and food safety
Comply with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and report known or suspected violations
Attend monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT)
Perform other duties as assigned
