Requirements

Willingness to work 1st shift with rotational schedule (3-12 hour days one week, 4-12 hour days the next), starting at 6:00 a.m., overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Basic computer skills to navigate systems, perform data entry, and complete training
Ability to read manuals to repair equipment safely and follow all safety protocols
Ability to record information using company-provided forms and procedures
Ability to report to work as scheduled, work scheduled hours, flexibility for other jobs, weekends, and overtime
Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others, demonstrating positive interpersonal skills and effective communication
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
Ability to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, hair net/beard guard, steel-toed boots, gloves)
Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull 70+ lbs. below waist, at waist, and above shoulder level
Physical ability to climb stairs, work at elevated levels/various heights/confined spaces, stand/walk 10-12 hours/day, bend/stoop/twist/stretch/reach
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/warm to cold), damp/wet conditions, slippery concrete floors
Attendance at monthly/annual training (Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT)

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies/procedures
Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production, including repairing/maintaining operating conditions and troubleshooting day-to-day problems
Perform work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, general mechanics, and some welding
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
Complete daily documentation as required
Ensure personal safety and food safety; comply with company/USDA policies/guidelines and report violations
Perform other duties as assigned
