Requirements

Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience documented in work history or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program (can be combination totaling at least 2 years)
Basic computer skills for logging information, processing work orders, completing documentation, and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Effective communication skills
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently
Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize ladder, operate lift, bend, and stoop
Ability to perform repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling, and frequent overhead work
Ability to work in temperatures from -25°F to over 100°F inside plant and outside
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability and willingness to furnish own tools

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and team
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
