Requirements

Minimum of three years of electro-mechanical training/experience in a production/plant environment
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills
Some PLC experience
Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)
Experience reading and applying knowledge from product manuals to make repairs
Experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns)
Experience reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics)

Ability to perform calibrations, installation, and maintenance of process and analytical equipment

Responsibilities

Maintain efficiency of machinery and high-speed automated equipment in a continuous improvement-based environment
Create and maintain a safe work environment
Set up, install, repair, and maintain production/manufacturing equipment and machinery
Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer's specifications
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed
Perform efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Perform electromechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as needed for facilities maintenance
Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detect faulty operations and defective material; report those and any unusual situations to supervision
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
