Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a related scientific field, and have at least 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, specifically within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, exposure assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements (such as OSHA and EPA) is essential, along with experience in developing and implementing IH programs.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Principal – Industrial Hygiene will work with design teams and Lilly engineers to create a best-in-class pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, developing and implementing all LMF Industrial Hygiene programs and leading cross-functional teams in their execution. They will provide technical IH expertise for new product introductions and changes, mentor technical staff, and maintain relationships with internal and external experts and regulators, ultimately contributing to operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.
