Requirements

  • Master Engineering Degree (preference for Industrial, Management, or Transportation Engineering)
  • 1-2 years work experience in similar roles
  • Language: Italian; English (mandatory) at B2-high fluency level (speaking, listening, writing at intermediate/independent level)
  • Analytical skills: data-driven decisions, high familiarity with numbers, structured approach, cross-functional view
  • Planning skills: multi-layer plans management, resource planning, trading off operational costs and service levels, developing solutions to business challenges
  • Project Management: leading/supporting cross-functional projects, meeting deadlines and targets, experience in project teams, Agile approach
  • Influencing and Persuasion: steering discussions, convincing with facts and figures to support decision-making
  • Creative thinking: recognizing improvement opportunities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Data management tools (Power BI, Machine learning, AI)
  • Possibility to travel in the Italian Territory to support Operations

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Planning & Engineering Manager in conducting independent operational processes’ reviews focused on defined areas in Italian territory
  • Identifying the need and undertaking process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiencies and support local operational goals
  • Adapting and utilizing modelling tools to translate complex analysis into accurate and realistic productivity plans
  • Communicating new plans to internal departments ensuring understanding and supporting implementation
  • Supporting internal studies and projects (e.g., implementation of new technology, facility design, functional specifications, feasibility studies)
