Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • At least five (5) years working experience in indirect supply chain strategy development and architecture
  • Excellent analytical and judgment skills, including strategic sourcing, opportunity analysis, and strong negotiation skills
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately, and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with various cross-functional teams
  • Experience with a wide variety of indirect contract types, with emphasis on lease, construction, general contractor, AIA, architect, facilities, maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for indirect suppliers and internal stakeholders for the company’s indirect spend (e.g., IT, Real Estate, Facilities, HR, Quality, Marketing)
  • Lead RFIs/RFPs, supplier down selection, negotiate contracts, perform contract phase-in, and actively solve issues (quality, schedule, cost, contract)
  • Support multiple internal stakeholders (facilities, marketing, IT, CMES, quality, finance) to ensure successful integration, sourcing efforts, contract execution, and supplier management
  • Lead supplier assessments and the development of corrective and preventative actions
  • Monitor supplier technical, quality, delivery, and financial performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with suppliers to reduce indirect costs
  • Resolve service issues quickly to prevent business impact
  • Lead and implement strategies to optimize the indirect supply chain, related total costs, and support lean production on tactical and daily problem solving
