Requirements

  • Successfully completed university studies in (business) engineering or comparable training
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of purchasing / supply chain
  • High customer focus, professional and confident demeanor, and the ability to competently represent the company
  • Six Sigma experience is desirable
  • Good teamwork and communication skills as well as negotiation skills
  • Fluent German and English skills (min. level B2)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP

Responsibilities

  • Development and coaching of buyers for optimal procurement of indirect materials regarding price, quality and delivery conditions
  • Rationalization and simplification of the indirect supplier base and establishment of procurement matrices for critical material and service categories
  • Professional advice and leadership in supplier selection for specific requirements and projects - based on an established selection process
  • Negotiation of contracts, prices and delivery conditions with the primary supplier
  • Contribution to cost reduction projects to increase OPACC (Operating Profit After Capital Charge)
  • Close cooperation with internal interfaces
  • Compliance with ethical and professional standards with our supplier base
  • Ensuring and compliance with compliance requirements and group requirements in all purchasing processes
