Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and prioritize duties

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily receiving processes on the dock and in the coolers, ensuring preferred work methods are being followed by associates
  • Assisting employees if short-staffed driving forklifts, shipping trucks, receiving the product, loading trucks, or cleaning warehouse
  • Communicating with the teams daily to explore opportunities within the inbound processes
  • Review, coach, and develop the maintenance associates
  • Monitoring work, adherence to policy and safety requirements
  • Issuing discipline when necessary
  • Maintains associate relations through regular department or pre-shift meetings; maintains on-going interaction
  • Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures
  • Monitors associate morale, and submits and responds to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement
  • Department planning and policy review to become more efficient and productive
  • Making all necessary substitution and responsible for the upkeep of power equipment
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed
  • Enforce all policies and procedures related to receiving are being followed daily
  • Enforce compliance on all safety policies
  • Reject product with inferior quality on inbound
  • Personnel schedule recommendations
