Requirements

  • Excellent financial knowledge on IFRS 17 standards and skills on financial statement closing
  • Excellence in financial system use (Microsoft and other financial programs)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and CPA highly preferred
  • Sufficient experience in financial statement closing of INSURANCE business
  • Ability to explain complex financial information to stakeholders including non-financial colleagues
  • Comfortable with fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Preparing for reports under KIFRS
  • Reporting under IFRS 17 accounting policies
  • Handling financial disclosure information and profit analytics report under IFRS17
  • Facilitated smooth month-end close processes by reconciling accounts efficiently and promptly addressing discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes
  • Prepare and support financial statement projections
  • Accounting DB Management and Interface
  • Governance for audit trail and accounting rule of documentations
  • Provide efforts in IFRS17 stabilization in a proactive manner
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess operational trends, identify changes, and recommend areas for improvement
  • Streamline audit processes, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance
  • Apply hands-on problem-solving skills to complete tasks within set deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through strong communication skills
