Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development, Maintenance and Support
  • 2+ years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; Synon2/E (aka COOL 2/E)
  • 2+ years of IBMi SQL experience
  • 2+ Experience working on SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CVS leads on Analysis, Development and Estimation activities related to designate project/functional area in IBM AS/400 (IBM i) environment
  • Coordinate with offshore team members, resolve issues in production, prepare and execute project plans
  • Perform requirement and gap analysis, raise change control to move changes to user acceptance testing server and then to production server, deploy changes to production per implementation plan
  • Make certain appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications
  • Create/review technical solutions and document projects, for example: Analysis & Designs Program specifications, Code Reviews and Test plan
  • Help define standards / methodologies / guidelines and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the RxClaim application architecture
