Requirements

  • Currently working towards a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
  • Good academic standing
  • Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026
  • At least one previous industry internship, co-op, or project completed in a relevant area
  • Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
  • Interns may not use any proprietary information for thesis, published work with university, or distribution outside of Zoox
  • Foundational knowledge of authentication concepts, access control, or general cybersecurity principles
  • Basic scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python or Golang

Responsibilities

  • Support IAM operations by assisting with SSO onboarding, credential rotations, and service account management
  • Contribute to security and compliance efforts through auditing, analysis, and remediation of identity-related findings
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to enhance IAM-owned products and implement improvements in dynamic credential management
