Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in sales, recruitment, and/or marketing (a plus) — as is Jewish educational, community, or camp experience
  • Confidence initiating, planning, and running programs
  • Experience serving on or mentoring student leadership boards
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and partner organizations
  • Prior Israel travel and strong enthusiasm for Israel engagement, education, and immersive experiences

Responsibilities

  • Increase Birthright Israel participation through strategic recruitment, marketing, and relationship building
  • Staff Birthright Israel trips during Winter and Summer breaks
  • Serve as a concierge for Birthright (incomplete in description, implied ongoing support)
  • Recruit for Birthright, Onward, and Hillel programs (e.g., tabling on campus)
  • Meet with Birthright alumni to brainstorm events (e.g., Greek life–partnered Shabbat)
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns for trip recruitment
  • Support event setup and execution (e.g., Memory Mall tailgate)
  • Work with student board president and leaders to prepare for meetings and program planning
  • Attend and support alumni engagement activities (e.g., Jewish cooking series)
  • Support student government initiatives and partner with Hillel International on topics like BDS and campus antisemitism
