Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations
  • Use visual aids, methods layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow charts, and written or oral assembly instructions
  • Set up initial layouts and use various tools to prepare products
  • Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and completed work
  • Perform quality inspections on processing production lines according to quality specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype components and sub-components according to specifications and analogous conditions
  • Set up and operate fully automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in continuous production/processing operations
  • Report any machine malfunctions or abnormalities and propose higher-level suggestions and/or adjustments to methods and processes
  • Handle product shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage in a distribution center
  • Execute basic activities and record data in production/manufacturing operations or distribution centers according to defined standards
  • Provide data and information with minor variations based on review
