High school degree, GED, or equivalent required
Preferred: Associate degree or certification from Technical College in a job-related curriculum
Previous experience working as a fluid power / hydraulic technician is preferred but not required
Read and understand schematic drawings and instructions
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Experience working with power tools and hand tools
Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards
Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule assignments
Logical problem-solving and analytical ability
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Motivated self-starter
Basic understanding of work instructions and schematic drawings

Responsibilities

Assembly of hydraulic manifolds, hydraulic motors, and hydraulic pumps
Assembly of hydraulic tanks and manifolds
Assembly of various Fluid Power Components, Electrical Components, and Mechanical Components
Setting hydraulic valves and flushing hydraulic reservoirs
Testing of assembled items, including hydraulic tanks and manifolds
Operation of hydraulic test equipment
May operate a Forklift if certified and needed
Other duties as assigned
