Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of related experience. Three years of experience with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, and InfoWorks ICM Sewer Edition or comparable water and wastewater modeling software is required, alongside working knowledge of GIS.
The Hydraulic Engineer will assist with hydraulic technical support for various water and wastewater projects, including combined/sanitary sewer overflow, collection systems, pump stations, water, green infrastructure, master planning, hydraulic models, and other projects. They will perform hydraulic evaluations of pressurized force mains and/or water systems, collection systems and/or open channel models, prepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternatives, prepare design reports and construction plans, prepare preliminary project cost estimates, assist with/review project scope, budget, and schedule, document design changes and communications, conduct on-site inspections, assist Project Managers, attend meetings, and maintain excellent client relations and a safe working environment.
