Requirements

Willingness to participate in on-the-job training in skilled trade areas (HVAC)
Ability to attend trade-related classes and workshops on and offsite
Commitment to observe all health and safety codes and comply with legal regulations
Capability to complete tests, assignments, and homework to build knowledge and skillset
Adherence to Abbott's and vocational school's rules, processes, and procedures
Tolerance for continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)
Ability to drive a personal auto, company car/truck, or powered material handling equipment
Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull weights of more than 20 pounds/9 kilos on a regular/daily basis
Comfort working at heights (e.g., ladders, scaffolds, catwalks)
Ability to work in a clean room environment
Availability for up to 5% travel
