Requirements

  • Currently working at the Humboldt facility or complex (internal team members only; transfers from other facilities must go through local HR)
  • 7 attendance points or fewer at bid time
  • No written warning of any kind in the last 6 months
  • Completion of 6 months on previous successful bid if not for a higher classification (i.e., lateral, downward move, or self-disqualified)
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift (training on 1st shift Pet Food until late December/early January startup)
  • Ability to pass background check if required

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process
  • Ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
  • Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
