Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field
Two (2) years of professional experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources analysis
Combined education and experience qualifications: An equivalent combination of education and professional experience in Human Resources may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Paraprofessional HR experience may substitute for professional experience on a two-for-one basis (i.e., two years of paraprofessional experience substitutes for one year of professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the public sector
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, NEOGOV, PeopleSoft)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of research and data analysis methods and techniques
Skill in effective use of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Skill in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective decision making
Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and performing multiple tasks and demands within schedule constraints and reprioritizing work as needed
Skill in verbal and written communication
Responsibilities
Acts as a strategic partner to develop and implement strategies that support the Judicial Branch’s staffing objectives
Handles a variety of administrative tasks using critical thinking and independent judgement
Advises hiring managers on the best recruiting and staffing strategies
Ensures effective workforce planning and hiring practices that align with organizational goals
Reads, interprets, adheres to, and understands defined policies, processes, and procedures while working independently
