Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a Masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology or Human-Machine Interaction
  • Previous experience in conducting quantitative studies/experiments
  • Previous experience in working with eye-tracking devices
  • Previous experience in collecting and processing physiological data in a lab, in particular heart rate, heart rate variability, or skin conductance
  • Basic level of understanding cognitive functions and cognitive neuropsychology, in particular attention and executive functions
  • Previous experience in preparing data sets for statistical analysis using tools such as SPSS, Stata, etc
  • Attention to details
  • Responsibility and sense of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Human Factors team, as well as with software engineers, product designers and test pilots
  • Help design systems that allow human operators to supervise safely and efficiently multiple aircraft simultaneously
  • Collect data in our autonomy lab using various tools and methods, including: eye tracking, subjective workload scales, heart rate, and more
  • Plan the evaluations with test subjects
  • Process the data
  • Participate in the implementation of improvements
