Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with three to five years of prior experience in a manufacturing setting specifically within a Health, Safety, & Environmental role. A detailed understanding of general industry standards and basic health and safety concepts, including hazard & risk assessment and behavior-based safety, is required, and candidates should hold a DOT Hazardous Waste Manifest/RCRAP certification.

Responsibilities

The HSE Site Coordinator will implement safe working techniques and reinforce safety policies, provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs, coach peers on safety behaviors, advise line management on compliance, investigate potential losses, develop and implement loss prevention plans, serve as a focal point for audits, maintain plant environmental and regulatory records, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with engineers on safety solutions, review incidents for root cause analysis, and maintain Industrial Hygiene & medical surveillance programs.
