Requirements

  • 1-3 years of HR experience required
  • Payroll experience an asset
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to execute with excellence and partner with the Site HR Leader for on-time delivery and efficiency
  • Interest in growing HR capabilities, with strong motivation to drive change and challenge the status quo
  • Proactive with the ability to learn new systems easily
  • Exceptionally strong proven technical and computer skills: proficient in O-365, Microsoft Office tools, SAP, Workday, Teams, CATS (or ability to learn) and Workday drive (or ability to learn); must possess the ability and passion to learn new technologies
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, able to function and make decisions independently
  • Strong organization and follow-through skills, with ability to prioritize workload and re-focus as situations change
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Site HR Leader to support day-to-day work systems, tasks and HR needs of the organization
  • Provide day-to-day employee support with timesheets, leaves of absence, flexible work arrangements, etc
  • Support employees and leaders with day-to-day needs such as policy and benefits guidance
  • Handle payroll and time administration – research and get to root cause of payroll issues, and fix them either directly or working with key internal Payroll partners
  • Maintain employment records in appropriate systems
  • Support projects as needed in the areas of organizational culture, training and development, manager-employee and team relationships
  • Partner with Employee Relations Practice to analyze and prevent potential issues with new policies or systems that impact pay, time off, calculations, etc
