Requirements
1-3 years of HR experience required
Payroll experience an asset
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to execute with excellence and partner with the Site HR Leader for on-time delivery and efficiency
Interest in growing HR capabilities, with strong motivation to drive change and challenge the status quo
Proactive with the ability to learn new systems easily
Exceptionally strong proven technical and computer skills: proficient in O-365, Microsoft Office tools, SAP, Workday, Teams, CATS (or ability to learn) and Workday drive (or ability to learn); must possess the ability and passion to learn new technologies
Self-motivated and self-starter, able to function and make decisions independently
Strong organization and follow-through skills, with ability to prioritize workload and re-focus as situations change
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
Partner with the Site HR Leader to support day-to-day work systems, tasks and HR needs of the organization
Provide day-to-day employee support with timesheets, leaves of absence, flexible work arrangements, etc
Support employees and leaders with day-to-day needs such as policy and benefits guidance
Handle payroll and time administration – research and get to root cause of payroll issues, and fix them either directly or working with key internal Payroll partners
Maintain employment records in appropriate systems
Support projects as needed in the areas of organizational culture, training and development, manager-employee and team relationships
Partner with Employee Relations Practice to analyze and prevent potential issues with new policies or systems that impact pay, time off, calculations, etc
