Requirements

  • Team Management: Experience leading and managing effective teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, international business or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of HR related experience, preferably in managing global mobility and immigration matters
  • Experience working within an international environment and across diverse cultures
  • Skilled in building trusted partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking, driving process efficiencies and customer focused solutions

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Americas Mobility team of two to three team members supporting international and domestic relocations within the Americas region
  • Manage the vendor services relationships within the Americas region including relocation management company, immigration provider, and other third party relocation suppliers
  • Consult HR leaders and business partners on domestic and international talent mobility challenges, providing solutions to meet their business needs
  • Manage escalations and exceptions, ensuring a high level of service with a key focus on employee experience while upholding the integrity of the global mobility policies and program
  • Analyze, interpret, and summarize complex and technical information and communicate it in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner to stakeholders
  • Support the creation and delivery of training and coaching on policies and procedures to internal stakeholders, as required
  • Lead or support global projects, recommending and implementing process improvements and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency
  • Oversee the Americas Mobility program which includes international assignments, one-way domestic relocations, project-based travel and temporary work assignments as well as domestic relocations within the Americas region
  • Ensure day-to-day management of global mobility within the Americas region supports Caterpillar’s talent acquisition and talent management initiatives by partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to provide clear and consistent service delivery and manage compliance
