Requirements

  • Ability to work specified shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday, rotating (four days one week, five the next)
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • High School or GED Equivalent (preferred)
  • One to three months related experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participate in all cleaning activities as assigned, including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keep assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc
  • Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintain good customer relations at all times
  • Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens (may include)

  • Maintain confidentiality
