Part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program (patient-facing role)
Valid in-state driver’s license, current registration and insurance, and driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits (part of Humana's Driver safety program)

Responsibilities

Assess and record patient condition by monitoring vital signs
Administer treatments by dispensing medications, changing bandages, and administering oxygen supply and equipment
Help patients care for themselves by introducing and teaching assisted living techniques (e.g., using a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene)
Help family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient
Enable patients to stay in their homes by providing health and personal services and supporting patients and their families
Interpret work assignments and independently determine appropriate courses of action
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including linkages to related areas
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and guidance where needed
Follow established guidelines/procedures
