Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate, be at least 18 years of age, and demonstrate the ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given. They should also be self-directing with the capacity to work with minimal direct supervision, possess empathy for the needs of the ill and frail, and maintain current CPR certification. A licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order is required.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Aide (CHHA) - CNA will provide personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen, assist patients with dressing and undressing, perform skin care to prevent breakdown, assist with toileting activities, and keep patient living areas clean and orderly. They will also assist patients in the self-administration of medication, adhere to organizational documentation and care procedures, meet productivity expectations, and travel to McMinnville, Salem, and Lebanon/Albany/Corvallis areas as needed.
