Responsibilities

  • Perform document capture of paper records (prepping, scanning, indexing, quality review) into OnBase
  • Manage electronic images in OnBase and Epic
  • Assess scanned images for accuracy and quality, monitor manual index queues, and maintain scanning equipment
  • Monitor and complete daily Epic In-basket work queues for MyChart, Release of Information requests, and OnBase PAT queues for surgeries
  • Ensure accuracy of demographic information, including patient merges/duplicates, baby name changes, and system updates
  • Analyze documentation and assign physician/provider deficiencies for timely completion per regulatory requirements
  • Assist, educate, and guide physicians/providers in completing deficiencies
  • Validate accuracy of physician/provider deficiencies on incomplete medical records and notify eligible physicians for suspension via Epic EHR
