Field Service Maintenance Technician

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shop or field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair, along with technical certifications or an Associate’s Degree. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles is required, as well as the ability to work within set time parameters, multi-task, and follow procedures. Applicants must also be able to obtain a forklift license, have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be able to properly lift and handle heavy loads up to 55 lbs.
The Heavy Equipment Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing complex repairs on heavy equipment in both the shop and field, including pumps, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues. They will also conduct preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled, complete work orders in a timely manner, maintain daily truck inspection logs, communicate effectively with the service manager, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Furthermore, the technician will provide high-quality repair service to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner, collaborating with all departments to address customer needs, and potentially participate in signing bonuses, triple bonus programs, and other company perks.
