Requirements

At least 7 years of solid legal assistant experience
Deep understanding of court rules, filing procedures, and the full litigation life cycle
Experience in healthcare law
Expertise in state and federal court filings, document formatting, and proofing for accuracy and style
Strong technical skills with Microsoft Word (2010 or higher), Outlook, and document management systems (iManage experience a plus)
Bonus points for familiarity with CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Comparite, or CCC Macros
Experience in Healthcare Insurance, or Business Litigation is a plus
Exceptional communication skills, strong initiative, and the ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining an upbeat, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Managing filings in both state and federal courts, including e-filing and adhering to strict deadlines
Preparing pleadings, discovery shells, tables of contents and authorities, and finalizing complex legal documents with precision
Coordinating case schedules, deadlines, and calendars
Communicating with clients and internal teams with professionalism, clarity, and warmth
Providing general administrative and litigation support to ensure cases move forward smoothly and efficiently
