Requirements

  • Well educated and experienced in health, safety, and security
  • Expert knowledge in safety field, including OSHA and Taiwan/local industry-specific regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide programs to ensure a sustainable safety culture aligned with Fluence workplace, including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and use of protective equipment
  • Develop a systemic process to collect data, analyze causes of accidents, and generate required reporting
  • Implement health and safety initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards
  • Personally oversee efforts of all employees, particularly those in industrial safety positions
  • Participate in regular negotiations and meetings with human resources, managers from other departments, and high-level executives to ensure company safety is under control
  • Improve safety while simultaneously increasing worker productivity
  • Conduct thorough safety audits periodically to ensure WHS practices are legally compliant
