Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
White Card
First Aid & CPR
Training in incident investigation (e.g. ICAM or TapRooT)
Training in internal auditing (e.g. ISO 45001)
Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and scenario-based risk management
Proven track record in implementing and evolving WHS/OHS systems in complex project environments
Strong background in incident investigation, legal documentation, and assessing business impact
Experience promoting health and wellbeing initiatives, including mental health monitoring and contractor engagement
Skills in implementing and simplifying WHS/OHS systems aligned with organizational changes
Skills in investigating incidents and preparing documentation for legal and business impact analysis
Skills in promoting mental health and wellbeing, and fostering collaborative relationships with contractors

Responsibilities

Implement effective auditing strategies and simplify safety systems to align with evolving organizational structures and risk profiles
Continuously improve WHS/OHS practices by embedding innovative methods that enhance operational efficiency and performance
Conduct regular risk reviews, analyze data trends, and prioritize risks based on impact and probability to strengthen organizational resilience
Use scenario-based analysis to manage crises and recommend improvements through systematic data evaluation
Identify legal documentation for incident defense, perform cost impact analysis, and monitor key safety metrics like TRIFR and LTIFR
Promote healthy lifestyle choices, support mental health, and foster collaborative relationships with contractors
Respond to workplace changes by updating safety management systems and risk control strategies accordingly
Maintain strategic oversight, advocate for inclusivity, and lead change by setting clear goals and modeling visionary behavior
Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety protocols, investigate incidents, and provide training to night shift workers
Work closely with the Construction Civil teams to maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations
