The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in buyside or sellside research, management consulting, or using data to understand business trends and solve customer problems. Experience in equity research or management consulting-style writing is expected, along with a background in business analysis and a passion for data-driven fundamental investing. A commitment to learning new technology skills is also required.
The Head of Research will lead a team of 4 to 6 individuals in APAC and develop fundamental research for YipitData's products. This role involves creating and communicating valuable insights from datasets, performing granular analysis using SQL queries, and contributing to new product development. Responsibilities also include building customer relationships, working with Sales and Marketing teams for product positioning, and managing the careers of Research Analysts.
