Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and versatile Public Affairs Specialist to join our EMEA government relations team. This role is crucial for helping NVIDIA navigate the complex regulatory environments in key geographies and anticipate associated risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build NVIDIA's profile with federal and state government representatives and relevant parliamentary groups in France.
  • Develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the ecosystem, including policy organizations, think tanks, national and regional initiatives, research institutions, trade associations, NGOs, and industry partners.
  • Play a leading role in developing NVIDIA's government relations strategy in France and across EMEA.
  • Contribute knowledge of French and European public policy functions and practices.
  • Plan, manage, and undertake outreach to key internal and external stakeholders to achieve team objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with wider NVIDIA teams (sales, marketing, engineering, PR) to support their priorities with government relations insights.
  • Keep colleagues across regions aligned on NVIDIA’s policy priorities.
  • Build content, including internal and external messaging, to effectively articulate NVIDIA’s corporate positions.
  • Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from concept to implementation.
  • Utilize creativity to overcome problems.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience working in a relevant organization (e.g., public affairs consultancy, government agency, trade association, or in-house team).
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in France, especially relating to artificial intelligence, climate, and energy.
  • Insights into trade, competition, and export control are also valuable.
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the technology sector and awareness of key policy issues impacting the sector.
  • Deep technical knowledge/experience in the tech sector is beneficial but not vital.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Additional language skills are helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to work in a self-directed way.
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a multi-national, remote, and highly matrixed organization.
