Responsibilities

Own the performance and strategy for fraud detection rules and models
Manage the lifecycle of fraud detection rules and machine learning models (design, implement, test, deploy, monitor, iterate)
Drive improvements in key detection metrics: Transaction Detection Rate (TDR), Account Detection Rate (ADR), Value Detection Rate (VDR), Alert False Positive Rates
Influence and own critical financial fraud metrics, including customer and Aspire fraud losses
Define and drive the strategic roadmap for fraud detection systems, prioritizing data sources, model enhancements, and rule logic
Optimize detection thresholds and model parameters based on fraud investigations, quality control, and business feedback
Champion integration of advanced AI/ML, automation, and predictive analytics
Act as subject matter expert on fraud detection, collaborating with Fraud Operations, AML, and other teams
