A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required, with CPA, Chartered Accountant or similar preferred; an advanced degree like a Master’s or MBA is a plus. Strong leadership experience mentoring teams and expertise in German GAAP (HGB), financial reporting, and process automation are key.
