Requirements

  • Student in Proces Technologie, Voedingsmiddelentechnologie, or Food Technology (HBO or WO level)
  • Available for a 5-month internship (February to June 2026)
  • Suitable for meewerkstage or afstudeerstage

Responsibilities

  • Investigate factors influencing the solubility of solid ingredients in carbohydrate solutions
  • Inventory factors affecting solubility
  • Develop an advisory plan or implementation proposal for improvement measures (and implement where possible)
  • Contribute to reduction of quality deviations and downtime
  • Collaborate with Research & Development (product developers)
  • Interact with Production & Process Technology (operators, process engineers, quality staff)
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance on recipes (formulations) and quality standards
  • Consult with Technical team (mechanics) on process technical aspects
  • Utilize fundamental research, R&D expertise, and advanced data-analysis systems
  • Manage the project using DMAIC structure (or alternative as required by education)
